Our carers share our values and are expertly trained by our in-house nurse trainer. We work with you to craft a care plan that suits your lifestyle and preferences and this care plan will be under continue review by our coordinator, Fran.

Local knowledge

As a family business we have provided care in Somerset for almost 50 years. Netherclay House opened with one resident in 1971. Before moving to its current office on Chelston Business Estate Netherclay Home Care was started in a shed in the grounds of Netherclay House in 1994. We now run three residential, nursing and dementia nursing homes in Somerset and employ almost 300 people. As a result we have deep roots in Somerset and we understand the mechanisms of the local care sector. We use this knowledge to continually improve our care services and we are able to give knowledgeable direction to our clients. We are a local team with local knowledge and nationally recognised standards.

Our care is costed bases on the length of visit coupled with the complexity of the care tasks – for example on a per-hour basis, companion care works out cheaper than a short home care visit. Live-in care is banded depending on the your needs.
